Clean Water

Every healthy community begins with water.

At the UNITAS orphanage in southern Tanzania, MPTP installed a new well, pump, water tower, and purification system — and the ripples haven't stopped since.

Before the well

Water used to mean a walk to the pond.

Before, collecting water meant time, distance, and water that was never truly safe. Today, clean purified water flows right on the orphanage grounds — for drinking, cooking, washing, and growing.

Health

Cleaner water.

Purified water on the property means healthier children and fewer preventable illnesses at UNITAS.

Neighbors

Water for everyone.

MPTP placed faucets outside the orphanage walls, so nearby neighbors have access too — they come in long lines to fill their buckets.

Growth

A garden made possible.

With adequate water at last, the banana trees are flourishing and a large garden now gives the kids plenty of fresh vegetables.

Looking Ahead

The well at UNITAS is proof of what clean water unlocks — health, food, dignity, and time. As More Precious Than Pearls grows, we hope to bring safe, reliable water to more of the communities we serve.
